There will be something for everyone at Ingatestone Hall next month where a varied line up of events and activities is scheduled.
On Saturday and Sunday, May 10 and 11 the 16th Century mansion in Hall Lane will host the International Homes Show.
Then on Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18 there will be a demonstration of archery which is sure to hit the target for visitors.
Also on Sunday, May 18 the garden will be open in aid of British Red Cross.
The mansion, which is set in 11 acres of grounds featuring Petre family furniture, pictures and memorabilia is open to the public on weekends and bank holidays from 1 to 6pm.
Admission is £4 for adults, £3.50 for students and OAPs and £2 for children and there is free parking, a tea room and a gift shop.
