Fabian Wilnis had one word to sum up Ipswich Town's shock drubbing at the hands of Wimbledon - unbelievable.
The Blues' faint play-off dream was finally extinguished as they crashed 5-1 at Portman Road on Saturday.
And the Dutchman, who was substituted before four of the goals, told the Evening Gazette: "We threw the game away and totally blew it.
"We were playing so well in the first half and were much the better side but the first goal shattered our confidence.
"After that we were chasing the game. They kept catching us on the counter-attack and the number of chances they had was unbelievable.
"Every time they attacked they scored and that was bitterly disappointing, especially in our last home game of the season.
"We knew we didn't have much chance of the play-offs but wanted to finish on a high note to say thanks to our fans."
Wilnis hobbled off with a knee injury early in the second half but hopes to be fit for Saturday's last game of the season at Derby.
