Students at a Hadleigh dance school are celebrating brilliant results at a national competition.
The Western Dance Centre, situated in the High Road, Hadleigh took over sixty pupils to Blackpool to compete in national ballroom and latin competitions, and returned with a huge collection of trophies.
School principal John Damljanovic today said: "Our students performed exceptionally well and came first in the under eight, under sixteen and under twenty five categories.
"We also came second in the under thirty five and over fifty sections.
"Our under eight champion has come first in this competition for the last four years now, she is really very good - a bit of a rising star.
"We are really proud of all of them and their achievements, it was a major competition and they all really shone."
The school, which teaches everything from ballroom and latin to tap and street has been established for thirty nine years, their youngest pupil is two and the oldest 102!
John estimates that annually they teach more than 800 dancers with a range of abilities, however new performers are always welcome.
They have five qualified teachers that work with students in the evenings. For information regarding classes call 01702 559836.
