Arena Essex are looking to bounce back from a midweek defeat to King's Lynn when they host the Norfolk outfit.
Hammers went down 48-42 on their travels but will be confident of claiming the aggregate bonus point at their Purfleet home.
The absence of Henning Bager, competing in the Danish Championships, will see a replacement rider at number two.
But no one can fault Bager's commitment to the Essex cause after he passed up the chance to practise for the Danish Champs to ride for Hammers at Rye House.
Lee Herne and Kelvin Tatum will each claim an extra ride to cover for the Dane.
In Wednesday's away leg Arena's flying Finn led the way as Joonas Kylmakorpi took six rides to return a paid 14 point tally.
That was backed up by double figure returns from fellow heat leaders Kelvin Tatum and Leigh Lanham, who both appeared five times as the Hammers hauled back a 12-point deficit in the final three heats to give themselves a chance of clinching the bonus point tonight.
