Community-spirited youngsters took time out of their Easter break to collect an amazing 98 bags of litter.
The children were hunting for rubbish at the Woodgrange Estate in Southend as part of a new community project organised by Estuary Housing Association.
They were sent out in groups and set the challenge of collecting the most rubbish.

An extra large Easter egg was the reward offered to the group which brought back the most bags.
Tim Gray of the housing association said: "Part of the scheme is to generally improve the estate and raise environmental awareness. It was very successful."
