Chelmsford's Jobcentre Plus is bringing its services to South Woodham Ferrers for the first time.
Organisers hope that their visit on April 30 will help fill job vacancies in the town.
Marketing officer Ron Morris said: "There is not necessarily a problem with recruiting people for work in the town, but we haven't really concentrated on South Woodham before, so we will be doing some outreach there.
"There are a range of jobs available from right across the board, at every level from management to shop floor work."
The agency's trailer will be stationed in the Asda car park on Wednesday from 10am to 3pm, where visitors will also be able to find out about training, benefits and other support available to those returning to work.
The trailer scheme has so far been tried out in Braintree, Witham and Harlow, and has been fruitful, said Mr Morris.
Companies that wish to advertise job vacancies for the South Woodham outing can call Employer Direct on 0845 601 2001 or Mr Morris on 07971 996840.
