Phil Parkinson has challenged his players to bounce back from their worst home defeat for 35 years when they travel to Adams Park.
The U's were thrashed 5-0 by Luton Town on Monday and Parkinson was, not surprisingly, unhappy with his side.
But he said: "The only way you can bounce back from a performance like that is through action, not words."
His team can't afford two bad displays on the bounce.
Despite the fact that they have secured their Division Two status for next season, there is plenty of pride at stake tomorrow.
There is a big rivalry between the U's and Wycombe, going back to their days in the Conference in the 1990s, when both were fighting for promotion to the Football League.
Parkinson said: "It's a big game and one the players should be up for.
"Wycombe are a decent side, and are a bit like us in the fact that they are safe and looking to end the season on a high."
But after watching his first home defeat as manager and only the second of his 12-game spell in charge, Parkinson is determined to get back to winning ways.
He added: "Hopefully there will be a good response from Monday."
