A community office is holding a raffle with a piece of television history on offer.
Fans of ITV1's Coronation Street could be lucky enough to win a skirt as worn by the unmistakable Betty Turpin.
The character, played by Betty Driver MBE, made her debut in the long-running soap opera as a Rovers Return barmaid in June, 1969.
The raffle will be taking place as part of the tabletop sale on Saturday, from 1pm until 3pm, at the community office at 33a Howards Close on the Bartram Estate in Braintree.
Many other prizes have been donated, including merchandise from The Bill, Emmerdale and EastEnders, while Boots, Sainsbury's, Chocolate Fayre, Rollerworld, Quasar and other local and national companies have helped out.
All profits will be divided between two groups on the estate Upbeat and Youth Evolution so they can plan future events.
