Micky Stockwell will say a final farewell to Colchester United fans in ten days time.
The 38-year-old, who will retire from playing at the end of the season, is set to play in the U's last game against QPR on Saturday week.
Stockwell wants to become a full-time coach but is unlikely to be offered a coaching post by the club.

U's boss Phil Parkinson told the Evening Gazette: "At the moment there are no spaces on the coaching staff and it would be unrealistic for a club of our size to create a new role.
"But if anything was to change I would love to involve Micky."
Stockwell, who is out of contract at the end of the season, said: "I knew that was the case and I understand the situation at the club.
"But I would love to get into coaching and I'll be actively looking to find something as soon as I can."
