Children at a primary school will be able to pond dip and learn more about the natural world thanks to a new platform in their pond made by an A Level student at Chalvedon School.
Pupils at St Margaret's Primary School, Bowers Gifford, which is part of the Education Action Zone, benefited from the work of Anthony Dockerill, 17, who needed to help the community as part of his A-level technology coursework.
Janet Palmer, headteacher at St Margaret's Primary School, London Road, Bowers Gifford, said: "We very much appreciate this close liaison with Chalvedon School as it has enabled us to further extend our scientific investigating."
