Brainy Benfleet families were today urged to take part in the town's first multi-generational game of general knowledge - before it's too late.
The Bright Sparks quiz, which began on Monday and ends tomorrow, is being run by bosses at the Old Mill Harvester in London Road.
Manager Maggie Turner said: "For 20 years pub quizzes have been popular, but you had to be a certain age to be successful.
"Our test is much more inclusive and you really need all the family, from the kids to grandparents, to be in with a chance of winning."
Bright Sparks quiz papers are handed out by staff when a meal is ordered.
The answers are collected when the bill arrives.
To ensure fair play, the questions have been changing daily.
Maggie added: "We will be totting up the marks just before it's time to go back to school.
"The winning family will get a meal for four and a family ticket to Alton Towers for next half term."
