We're Gunner have a great time . . . that's the message from hundreds of youngsters who've been enjoying top soccer coaching during the Easter Holidays.
The grassroots soccer academy of Arsenal scout Bob Woolf, with support from Echosport through competitions offering free places, has been opening its doors in Laindon and Leigh during the two-week break.
Showing his skill - seven-year-old Echosport competition winner James Killingback
Last week's courses went ahead at Laindon's James Hornsby School and Blenheim School in Leigh and, in perfect weather conditions -- it was a case of sunshine all the way.
This week the new town action switched to Willows School in Church Road, Basildon and Fairways School in Leigh.
Bob said: "The interest has been phenomenal and has really take off since we started offering free places for youngsters in competitions through the Evening Echo.
"Each one of our four courses over Easter has had well over 100 youngsters attending and the big boost is that, once they've been to one of our weeks, they book up to come back again and again."
