Determined Pam Glover showed that every step counts.
She completed a personal challenge to walk a mile round Wivenhoe and raise money for a toilet for the disabled in a town church.

Miss Glover was born with cerebral palsy but said she was quite active and walked about a mile a day.
But she had a fall in April, 1999, and within six months was unable to walk.
Doctors discovered that Miss Glover had crushed a disc in her neck and she underwent a major operation in December, 1999.
Miss Glover, 50, of Paget Road, Wivenhoe, said: "I thought it would take me three months with physiotherapy but I'm still struggling to walk unaided."
Her challenge in Wivenhoe was a triumph. Not only did it help her recovery from the operation but it raised more than £1,000 for a disabled toilet at the Congregational Church in Wivenhoe High Street.
The walk took her from the quay, through the town centre and back to the waterfront.
She said her parents Don and Louise had given terrific support. Her walk was accompanied by music from Peter Kerr and Jan Sinclair on the guitar and musical organ.
Sponsorship forms for Miss Glover's challenge are on www.wivenhoe.gov.uk
