Martijn Reuser says that Ipswich Town's demolition of Premiership new-boys Portsmouth was 'awesome.'
The Dutchman powered home a stunning 30-yard goal in the 3-0 success at Portman Road on Friday.
Tommy Miller and Pablo Counago swelled the margin of victory and Reuser told the Evening Gazette: "We were fantastic, awesome and so on top of our game, especially in the first half.
Pablo Honey: Counago celebrates his goal against Portsmouth
"It was only my second goal of the season which is quite a poor record, although I have missed most of it through injury.
"But this goal was well worth the wait. I hit it sweetly and it was a great feeling to see the ball nestle in the back of the net.
"I was back in the side for this game and hopefully I repaid the manager for giving me a chance."
