Westcliff Lawn enjoyed mixed fortunes in their Essex league fixtures.
The men's veterans team of Gary Reynolds, Bryan Rivers, Iain McDonald and Eddie Lamb saw off Brentwood Lawn 7-1 in their division two encounter.
And the ladies' second team of Lynn May, Vanessa Powell, Sarah O'Sullivan, Judith Ward, Helen Broadway, Jenny Barham beat David Lloyd Chigwell 14-4 in division two.
But Dave Lambe, Paul Mower, Alan Kemp, Bryan Rivers, Iain McDonald and Tim Willcock lost their division one match 8-1 to a strong Gidea Park outfit featuring Michael Stevens, John Pugh and Wayne Lemoine.
Westcliff Hard's second team of Jeremy Harvey, John Handelaar, Graham Broadley, Greg Handelaar, Giles Brickwood and John Western handed out an 18-0 division two thrashing to Cranston Park.
And the over-45 men's veteran third team of Martin Jefferies, Barry Tite, Bob Sharpe and Roger Hanson enjoyed a 7-1 win over Brentwood Lawn's fourths.
Leigh and Westcliff LTA are holding their winter championships on Sunday, April 27, at Invicta TC. Play starts at 1pm.
