Geraint Williams returns to his native Wales tomorrow looking to play a part in plotting the downfall of Cardiff City.
And with that job hopefully completed, the Colchester United assistant boss will join manager Phil Parkinson in the task of putting an Easter Monday spanner in the wheel of Second Division top-eight visitors Luton Town.
Former Welsh international midfielder Williams knows the task is going to be tough.
Cardiff, currently in third spot, must beat the U's at Ninian Park to keep their hopes of automatic promotion alive.
As the U's set out to stretch their recent outstanding run to just one defeat in 16 games, he told the Evening Gazette: "We couldn't have wished for two tougher games, but we wouldn't want it any other way.
"We are well prepared both physically and mentally for both games and with Cardiff pushing so strongly for promotion again there should be a great atmosphere around the ground.
"On paper we are the easiest game in their run-in, but we're not worried about that. I watched them lose at Peterborough on Wednesday night which hopefully will put them under a bit of pressure.
"Phil's already gone on record looking for the strongest possible finish and with four games left that means 12 more points."
It was Williams who set the U's on their way with two wins and two draws in his month in charge as caretaker manager
