Food author Mary Berry will be at Waitrose supermarket in Southend to demonstrate a mouth-watering seasonal menu.

Mrs Berry, who has written more than 40 cookery books, will be at the superstore in Fossetts Way today at 10.45am.

She will create a range of cosmopolitan dishes. Items on the menu include smoked haddock bouillabaisse, Italian pasta with parma ham, and baked salmon with parmesan in a parsley crust.

Dessert will consist of hazelnut meringue with passion lemon coulis.
