A real nappy road show hits Braintree on Wednesday April 23, offering free starter packs to residents.
Visitors to the road show, in George Yard, from 9am to 3pm, will be able to pick up a pack of nine re-useable nappies, two waterproof wraps, a roll of flushable nappy liners and full instructions.
All this month a team from Braintree District Council will also be visiting doctor's surgeries and health centres to promote the packs.
The campaign, organised with Essex County Council and Nature Babies, is part of national Real Nappy Week.
Braintree residents can also pick up a free pack of nappies by calling Nature Babies on 0845 600 1425.
