Beaches in Southend have scooped four more awards - as the town gears up for a bumper Easter weekend with scorching temperatures.

They have again gained four Seaside Awards from environmental charity ENCAMS.
The beaches at Three Shells, Shoebury East Beach, Shoebury Common and Bell Wharf at Leigh will all be able to fly the prestigious blue and yellow flag throughout the summer.
To gain the awards, beaches have to meet strict standards of hygiene and cleanliness and provide features such as first aid facilities, clean toilets and access for disabled visitors.
