Great Wakering Rebels are set to appeal to South East League chiefs in a bid to get their fixtures switched to Sunday afternoons.
The current morning matches conflict with team members' other interests and have led to rider shortages.
"We are going to tell the league that we cannot get a team on Sunday mornings because we have some riders playing football," said Rebels chief Den Winch. "We would prefer it to be later in the afternoon."
Wakering were defeated 49-111 by current champions Great Blakenham at the weekend.
Robin Hawkins made his debut for the Rebels and scored five, while veteran Vic Duffy top-scored with 12.
