A shocked couple returned home from holiday to find their car stolen and £4,000 of goods taken from their garage.
Thieves stole a silver Nissan Primera from the driveway of the house in Moores Avenue, Fobbing, between April 3 and April 13 and took a hedge trimmer, jetwash and chainsaw from the garage after removing the padlock with bolt croppers.
Anyone with information about the car - registration T244 WEV - or the Black and Decker hedge trimmer and McCullock chainsaw should contact Pitsea police station on 01268 532212.
