David Tuck of Rayleigh ledgered popped up corn on the long arm and found tench to 5lb plus an 11lb mirror. With a couple of bream Tuck's bag totalled 38lb.

Southend's Peter Davis found worm and luncheon meat fished over a bed mixed trout pellets and hemp kept the bream and tench happy with 11 good fish to 6lb.

Regular Chris Lyndsay of Westcliff fished a favourite swim on the north bank and landed tench and bream, a mirror of 18lb plus fully scaled mirrors of 12lb, 15lb plus a personal best of 22.8lb.
