Armed police officers stormed a street in an effort to catch a man believed to be driving around with a gun.
The operation failed to stop the man and he was today still on the run.

Police had intelligence the man, who was driving a car in the area, may have been armed and sent about ten cars to the junction of Kilworth Road and Cromer Road, off York Road, Southend.
Despite the search, which began at 12.25pm yesterday, the man - who is believed to have failed to appear in court yesterday - remains at large.
A police spokesman said: "It was an operation involving armed officers trying to track down a man who had failed to appear in court."
