A shopkeeper whose premises have been daubed with graffiti for a second time within two years is refusing to clean it off until the culprits are caught.

Graffiti - shop owner Chris Yeoman believes vandals are targeting his store Picture: LUAN MARSHALL

Chris Yeoman, who owns Fingersafe in Southbourne Grove, Southend, has also put up huge reward posters in his window offering £100 for information leading to the vandals' conviction.

He said: "If I clean it off, that is the reaction the little beasts want, so I'm going to leave it there. "It doesn't bother me and won't affect my trade.

"I think this is the best way to get information from someone who knows who did it."

Mr Yeoman's shop, which manufactures a product to stop children's fingers getting trapped in heavy doors, was attacked by graffiti artists two years ago and he is convinced the same vandals are to blame this time.

Mr Yeoman said: "They haven't done any of the other shops opposite or either side - it's just mine. I'm adamant I'm not going to clean it off until I found out which little urchin did it."
