Police were today appealing for help in catching a gang who carried out a vicious assault on a 16-year-old girl.
The five teenagers are believed to have followed the girl from Billericay railway station a park.
One of the boys grabbed the girl before another indecently assaulted her.
The girl then made a bid to escape but was subjected to a sustained kicking.
The youths, three white and two black, then fled. Anyone with information about the incident on April 9 should call 01268 244028.
