Thundersley's King John have reigned supreme in the district netball finals.
Three of their four successes came over Hockley's Greensward College, who were beaten 7-4 by the year 7 B team, 5-1 by year eight and 9-4 by the seniors.
In the year 7A competition Canvey's Furtherwick Park went down 10-8 to King John.
They have also excelled on the hockey front where, in the year 10/11 Castle Point and Rochford District rally, they became champions when they beat Furtherwick on penalty flicks in the final.
Sandra Bridge, the King John goalie, was the hero as she saved all five of the Canvey side's shots.
So, when Caroline Bridge scored for King John, it ensured that they became champs.
King John had reached the final with a 1-0 success over Rayleigh's Fitzwimarc having previously collected their qualifying group.
