Energetic walkers put their best foot forward when they took part in a charity fundraising event in Canvey.
Clients and staff from the Canvey Island Resource Centre joined friends from the Holy Family Parish, Benfleet, in a mammoth 13.5 mile walk.

Although just over half the distance of the London Marathon, the walkers needed a lot of puff to complete the trek around Canvey.
Fundraisers were hoping to raise hundreds of pounds for Catholic Aid for Oversees Development (Cafod) which helps people in some of the world's poorest countries.
A spokesman for Cafod said: "This is the fifth year running we have held a walkathon to raise funds for Cafod. Fortunately, the weather was on our side and there was a good turnout.
"The money raised from the event wil help sufferers of Aids, tuberculosis and other diseases. We are just a group of friends trying to do our bit to give help and hope to the men, women and children who are suffering from poverty, hunger and HIV/Aids."
