The Earl and Countess of Wessex are set to visit Chelmsford for the second time this year.
Royal watchers will be able to catch a glimpse of Prince Edward and Sophie when they visit Anglia Polytechnic University.
The couple will be unveiling a plaque to mark the official opening of the university's new £8million flagship building on May 28.
The new Ashcroft International Business School in Bishop Hall Lane has taken just one year to build.
The Earl and Countess first visited the county town in February and braved ice and snow to attend a service at Chelmsford Cathedral to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the East Coast floods.
