The Big Read is coming to Brentwood and everyone's invited.
As part of the BBC's nationwide search to find Britain's best loved book, Brentwood Library is inviting all to come in to the library and vote for their favourite book in a local poll.
'Whether it is a fondly remembered book from childhood such as 'The Wind in the Willows', a classic such as 'Jane Eyre' or a more modern book such as 'The Life of Pi' - the choice is yours' said a library spokesman.
'Also, the Big Read covers both fiction and non-fiction.'
Although the Brentwood vote will only be counted locally, it is easy to cast your opinion in the national poll through the Internet at www.bbc.co.uk/bigread.
