Schoolgirl Orl Cronin could be on her way to Sweden after winning the regional finals in a schools' environmental competition to clean up worldwide water supplies.
Orla, who goes to Great Clacton Junior School, scooped first prize in the literature section of the competition held by water regulators the Drinking Water Expectorate and Tendring Hundred Water.
Ellen Hornseby, who is a pupil at Dedham Church of England School, came first in the artistic section.
The two winners have been presented with £100 worth of vouchers and the schools get £700 each.
The pair will now go through to the national finals and the chance of having their work included in a book in aid of charity Water Aid and a trip to Sweden.
