A film crew has taken to the streets of Braintree to seek opinions on current affairs.
Britvoice Productions filmed a pilot programme, called What the People Say, giving people in the town the chance to air their views on topics they feel strongly about.
Lynne Church, assistant producer, spoke to one person who said entertainment in Braintree was not bad, Chelmsford was better, but had problems getting transport back to Braintree.
The team from the Great Notley-based company were helped by Michael Brown and Amy Hounsell, both 17-year-old media students at Braintree College.
Their tasks included asking people if they were willing to give their opinions.
Michael, who wants to be a chief editor in video production, said: "I am really looking forward to it. It is a nice starting block in the industry.
"It is not every day that something like this comes up."
If the pilot goes down well, a television company could commission a series of programmes, which could bring Britvoice Productions back to the town to film.
