Jim Magilton has joined Thomas Gaardsoe as a major injury doubt for Ipswich Town's weekend showdown at Coventry.
The midfielder is struggling with a groin problem and only has an outside chance of being fit.
Gaardsoe picked up a similar injury against Gillingham and missed Saturday's 4-3 defeat by Nottingham Forest.
And Blues boss Joe Royle told the Evening Gazette: "Jim's been suffering with this injury for some time but it's got worse this week.
"We'll give him every chance for the game but at the moment both players are doubts.
"Thomas has a better chance of making it, though, and he was hoping to do some light training today."
Royle - already without hamstring victim Darren Bent - is keeping his fingers crossed for Magilton.
"Jim's a terrific player who can have a huge influence on games," he said.
"He was one of our best players against Forest."
