The Super Furry Animals, Mis-teeq, Big Brovaz, Dirty Vegas and Slovo are the latest to be added to the line up for this years V festival.
Festival Director, Bob Angus said: "This is the third time that The Super Furry Animals have played at V. Mis-teeq, Big Brovaz and Dirty Vegas are really great additions and we and the V festival goers look forward to welcoming them for the first time."
Festival Director, Simon Moran commented: "Its great to see such a wide diversity of bands playing at V this year. As more acts get confirmed their fans are snatching up the remaining tickets at both sites. Many more are to follow so watch this space!"
The Super Furry Animals are due to release their new single 'Golden Retriever' and album 'Phantom Power' this summer. ' 'Phantom Power' is the band's sixth album and follows up the Mercury Prize-nominated, Gold-selling 'Rings Around The World'.
SFA played V in 1996 and 1999.
Mis-Teeq, the r'n'b/garage girl outfit, are joining the line up in the JJB/Puma Arena. Their debut album 'Lickin on Both Sides' went double platinum last year and is to be followed up very soon with 'Eye Candy'.
Big Brovaz hit our radios last year with their debut single 'Nu Flow', taken from the album of the same name. They join Mis-teeq in the JJB/Puma Arena at V.
Dirty Vegas are riding high after winning a Grammy for Best Dance Recording this year. The three South London boys have had a phenomenal year with great success both here and over in the states.
Slovo was formed by former Faithless guitarist Dave Randall, beginning as an album project in 2000. The debut album 'Nommo' features some great international collaborations. Slovo will also be playing the JJB/Puma Arena.
