Closing down sales are being held as two men's clothing stores prepare to change their standing in Southend town centre.
While Ciro Citterio, in High Street, prepares to move to a bigger store in the town, the Officers Club, in the Royals shopping centre, is on the look-out for a smaller unit.
Tony Grossman, manager at Ciro Citterio, said: "We are having to close down as the company wants a bigger store in Southend.
"Our premises are rather small and we are looking for a larger shop in Southend.
"Trade is excellent here. Southend has a very good high street. It is just the store here is too small for us. Hopefully, we will soon be able to get larger premises."
Meanwhile, Sarah Blackman, manager at the Officers Club, said: "We are closing down as the company wants a smaller site in Southend."
