Pupils and staff were today saying good-bye to their 107-year-old school and looking forward to their new one.
Time to say goodbye - pupils are getting ready to move from the Harwich County Primary School in Main Road which closes today
Today was the last day at Harwich County Primary School in Main Road, Harwich.
Next month the school will move to its new purpose-built home in Barrack Lane.
Yesterday, several former pupils joined with the current in-take to reminisce.
Phyllis Ward, 94, recalled: "I cried so much when my big sister went to school they said 'let her come'. It was lovely, we were ever so happy."
The school has a long history and during the Second World War parts of it were used as air-raid shelters.
