Police believe children as young as ten years old are responsible for an attack on a vets' surgery.
Vandals targeted Haven Veterinary Practice in Elm Tree Avenue, Frinton, smashing five windows.
It is believed the youngsters, who were spotted by a passerby, picked up Tarmac from nearby road repairs to throw through the double-glazed windows.
They caused damage which will cost more than £500 to repair.
Vet Peter Gard said it was the second time windows had been broken in a week.
Sgt John Scott, of Walton police, said he was confident the culprits would be recognised from the descriptions given to the police.
Both the boys, who had dark-coloured BMX bikes, are described as about 5ft in height and about ten years old.
The first had blond curly hair, wore a blue hooded top, blue jeans and white trainers.
The other boy was of slim build and wore a black bomber jacket and also had blue jeans and trainers.
Anyone who has any information should contact Clacton police on 01255 221312.
