Aaron Dainty has become Canvey BC's latest National Schoolboys champion after he destroyed his title rival with a dominant display in Barnsley.

His Mancunian opponent, Gavin Cullen, simply could't live with 15-year-old Dainty's skill and strength and was trailing 24-4 when the referee stopped the fight towards the end of the second round.
Cullen was so outclassed he had taken to using his shoulder in a bid to get into the fight and had been warned twice before it was decided enough was enough.
"To call it charging might be a bit much, but the ref had had enough of it," said trainer Terry Dainty, Aaron's grandfather.
"The lad had quite a lot of blood coming from his nose anyway - I think it would have been stopped soon anyway. And Aaron was so far in front it's not as if there was any doubt whatsoever about the result."
This was the first time Canvey had three boys fighting for National Schoolboy crowns but, unfortunately, Jack Gillingwater and John Begley were unable to add to Dainty's Class 3 under-42 kilo title.
