Police today renewed their appeal for witnesses after post office robbers hijacked a driving test car.
The robbers grabbed a cash box from Southcliff Post Office, Holland Road, Clacton, as it was being delivered by a security company at about 11.55am on Monday
Police are keen to speak to three possible witnesses seen in the area between 11.30am and noon.
DS Martin Brough, of Clacton police, said: "We are looking for a man driving a gold 4x4 vehicle, who appeared to chase the two suspects in his car down Skelmersdale Road as they ran on foot before taking the driving school car."
They also want to trace two teenage boys who might have information which could help with the inquiry.
One boy is described as 5ft 7ins to 5ft 8ins, of stocky build, with short dark hair and wearing blue clothing.
A man arrested in connection with the incident has been released on police bail
