Celebrity hairdresser Adee Phelan stayed a cut above the rest as he carried out an exclusive interview with fallen star Michael Barrymore live on TV.
Adee, 30, owner of Strangeways, in Elm Road, Leigh, cut the former presenter's greying hair as 19 cameras focused on the action in Channel 4's The Salon, in London.
The former Strike It Lucky star chatted candidly, revealing he had been clean and sober for 20 months and that he was considering a "great format" for a new show.
Adee, whose previous clients include David Beckham and Liza Minnelli, asked him why he agreed to appear on the show and Barrymore replied: ''Because you asked me and I wasn't doing anything else.''
Watch Barrymore's visit on Channel 4 at 6pm tonight.
