A 400-year-old listed barn destroyed in a fire, which caused thousands of pounds worth of damage in October, is to be rebuilt.
An application has been made to Braintree District Council for the reconstruction of the barn at Jenkins Farm, Kings Lane, Stisted.
The application by owner Mr Nicholas Elcombe will be considered by planners later.
Thirty firefighters took nearly two hours to control the blaze in October, after being alerted by a babysitter, who was praised for her attempts at trying to extinquish the flames.
