It was opening night on Broadway last night for the Tilbury estate's new £2million security scheme.
The combined concierge and CCTV project has been implemented with the help of an £845,000 Government grant in a bid to reduce vandalism and anti-social behaviour on the estate.

It will form a vital part of the council's Thumbs Down campaign against anti-social behaviour.
Council leader Andy Smith told more than 60 residents, police, councillors and other dignitaries that the concierge centre would "keep the rubbish out" of the estate.
Anyone entering or leaving the three blocks - Freemantle House, Brisbane House and Tasmania House - will have to report to a 24-hour reception desk.
Residents and visitors then use glass-covered walkways to reach each of the three blocks.
Along with the desk, many parts of the estate are now linked to a CCTV system which can beam pictures directly to Grays police station. Mr Smith welcomed the new facilities: "When I was first elected to the council in 1997 I said that we were totally committed to the residents of Tilbury and this is just one of the examples.
"This is going to be a great facility and is certainly going to help residents.
"I want to pay tribute to the residents and the tenants' association for their patience and good work. Without them we will not improve Tilbury."
The new scheme, based in a £750,00 building at the centre of the estate, was officially opened by its longest-serving resident, 70-year-old Brenda Fleming.
