A supremo volunteer today claimed she had the perfect antidote for Castle Point's bored youths.
Forget new skateparks, Suzi Brutnell - a leading voice for the borough's volunteer bureau - feels youngsters should focus their energies on helping others.

Suzi, the bureau's co-ordinator, threw her weight behind the Evening Echo's ongoing Beat the Boredom campaign and told children to wise up and become volunteers.
She said: "Volunteering has many benefits for young people and I see it as a great way to get them motivated.
"Young people have boundless energy and are often full of great ideas, assets that should be taken advantage of."
Suzi, 24, said all youngsters have to do to find out how they can help out locally is contact her at the bureau's headquarters at the Tyrells Centre, in Seamore Avenue, Thundersley.
