Stu St John of Basildon's Berry club eventually outpointed Huss Maldavann of Southend over four two-minute rounds at Tilbury's Toot Hall.
Canvey's Jon Martin took the light-welterweight title on a unanimous points decision.
He out-fought Chelmsford's Nat Wicks at the same event.
On Saturday there will be 11 local fighters in the county finals at Basildon College.
Canvey trio Keaton Dainty, Paul Fyson and Jack Gillingwater won through their semi-finals at Dukes Hall, Hornchurch, along with Luke Clark and Mike Hanger from Southend.
They join Rayleigh due Jamie and Louis Homer, Chalvedon pair Joe Blake and Mike Murnane, and another Canvey twosome Arron Dainty and Jon Begley.
