Swifts' cadet boys maintained their unbeaten league record when they entertained Kingston Wildcats at Greensward College on Sunday.
This was the first meeting between the two teams, with Kingston showing considerable improvement in their results as the season has progressed in the Cadet Men's Area South.
Southend made their customary fast start holding the visitors scoreless until the sixth minute as they racked up the game's first 14 points.
Wildcats looked to recover but Swifts captain Luke Jones scoring 16 of his team's first 20 points as they led 20-6 after seven minutes.
But Kingston bounced back in the third stanza and reduced the deficit before a time-out allowed the Southend team to regain their composure to make it 79-52.
Wildcats battled hard before fine shooting from Luke Jacobs and Leke Phiri took Swifts over the 100-mark with a 32-point winning margin.
Luke Jones with 39 points and Tim Hayes with a national league high 17 had led a nicely balanced effort with all of the Southend players on the scoresheet.
