Great Wakering Rovers could face a tough job tonight when they make one of their longest journeys of the season to visit Barton Rovers.
For their Bedfordshire hosts have put together a tidy little unbeaten run since losing 2-1 at Burroughs Park two-and-a-half weeks ago, highlighted by a 3-0 success at Barking and East Ham on Saturday.
Rovers themselves have lost just two in eight and the improved results have allowed both teams to climb the Ryman Division One North table.
Alan Hull's Wakering stand in 14th place with 34 points from 29 games while Barton are a place and point behind them from the same number of fixtures.
Wakering will still be without striker Tommy Dalgarno, who completes a two-match suspension tonight.
Fourth from bottom East Thurrock host 13th placed Uxbridge at Rookery Hill tonight.
