Maxine, 44, of Beechmont Gardens, Rochford, said: "When we saw the pub's wedding sign we said who on earth would get married in a pub. But upstairs it looked so cosy."
Grant, 45, said: "We said we'd never get married in a pub but it was brilliant."
Maxine said her brother Mitchell made the ceremony after leaving hospital just hours before. He had needed surgery after a motorbike smash.
And her brother Mark and his wife Lelia flew from Hong Kong.
