Karl Duguid today spoke of the sudden rush of blood that led to his sending off in Colchester United's demoarlising 2-0 home defeat against Blackpool.
The reigning U's player-of-the-year was sent packing for a crude 81st minute tackle on Seasiders' defender Danny Coid, having already been yellow carded for dissent 13 minutes earlier.

Described by promotion-chasing Seasiders boss Steve McMahon as 'a nasty challenge and potential leg breaker' Duguid said of the incident: "It was a build-up of frustration.
"I was already annoyed by the guy's first-half tackle which left me limping.
"The frustration just continued to build-up in me after we fell two goals behind.
"It was a very costly day for me in more ways than one."
The defeat dumped the U's deeper into relegation trouble third from bottom in the Second Division.
