Great Wakering Rovers will be happy to be avoiding opposition from the Thurrock area when they step out in Ryman Division One action at Burroughs Park.
The village side's only two defeats in an otherwise impressive run of eight matches without loss have been at the hands of Tilbury at home and lowly East Thurrock away.
Rovers were thrashed 5-0 at Rookery Hill on Tuesday night in the only one of eight divisional matches to beat the weather.
They had skipper Danny Scopes sent off, but tomorrow it's striker Tommy Dalgarno who will be missing out for disciplinary reasons having receved his marching orders for collecting two bookings in a match two weeks ago.
Tomorrow Alan Hull's men host a Thame side who are currently five points clear of them with three games in hand.
However, Wakering have an impressive record apart from those two Thurrock blows and, providing they can overcome their Tuesday nightmare hangover, will be fancied to take the points.
