Rochford Hundred golfers came out of semi-enforced hibernation to play their January Saturday medal over the full 18-holes.
Wet weather has restricted members to playing a few selected holes but last weekend saw the full course in action.
And the rest certainly seemed to have done some of the players good with Stephen Fearn taking Division One honours ahead of in-form Darren Lee.
Fearn fired three birdies and 11 pars in his 72-5=67 to see off Lee (72-3=69). Lee, winner of the last two club weekend competitions, notched four birdies and 10 pars.
The Division Two winner was Derek Deal, who repaired the damage of a triple bogey thanks to three birdies and seven pars in his 79-12=67 to ease out Steve Bradley, who had a birdie and seven pars on his way to 83-14=69.
