Teamwork can help turn a good school into a very good one. That was the message from Clacton County High School headteacher John Clay to pupils who gathered with parents to enjoy their sucesses at a special celebration evening.
The event at the school in Walton Road has replaced the annual awards evening.
Mr Clay said that a good comprehensive school should have a success culture.
He said that all schools need to nurture their gifted and talented.
Mr Clay also thanked parents for the support they had given their youngsters to help them achieve what they had and congratulated students for their efforts
